Return flight will depart from Cape Town at 13h45 and arrive in Plettenberg Bay at 15h00. The flight will depart Plettenberg Bay at 15h30 and arrive in Margate at 17h30.
The flight will be serviced by CemAir’s 19-seat Beech 1900D.
“We are launching the Margate-Cape Town route because it is very difficult to get from KwaZulu Natal to Cape Town. Although going by road to Cape Town is the same distance as from Johannesburg, the route is a difficult one to navigate” said Laura van der Molen, CFO of CemAir, adding that the airline had had a lot of requests to connect the South Coast to Cape Town.
“We are aiming to give people based on the South Coast access to Cape Town and also looking at offering International tourists based in the Cape a way to access the South Coast directly,” she said.
Van der Molen added that, depending on demand, the airline would look at adding capacity.
