Il Diamante tourism promotion event

In collaboration with IL Diamante Tour Operator, Qatar Airways and the Sun Lux Collection of

Sun International, the Embassy hosted a workshop for travel agents on South Africa as a tour-

ism destination. The event, which was held at the Official Residence, was opened by Ambassa-

dor Tambo, who spoke of the beauty and splendour of South Africa and its people. Presenta-

tions focussed on South Africa’s people, its rich cultural heritage and many diverse tourist at-

tractions. The event was well attended by over 130 tourism professionals. Our sincere thanks

go to our partners who helped to make this occasion such a resounding success!
