Golden Gate Highlands National Park

Golden Gate Highlands National Park is located at the foot of the Maluti Mountains. Visitors can view this
spectacular Park by hiking or horse riding through its beautiful surroundings. The Park is home to a wide va-
riety of different birds, including vultures and eagles, and zebras. The unique rock formations are absolutely

stunning and the views are simply breath taking. Link

The Motouleng Heritage Site is located in Ficksburg, at the foot of the Maluti Mountains and is known as

the worship site for ancestors. Most visitors to the sacred sight come to learn more about the history of the

Basotho people and their rich cultural heritage and customs.
